I made item number two on my fall fashion 2011. Actually that fall fashion 2011 I've kind of pooped out on. I had 6 things I planned on doing and I've only completed 2, and by the time I'm done with number 3 it will be December/Winter. Whatever, here is the blouse. My mother-in-law gave me the fabric, and I had the thread leftover from James' costume, so I literally spent $0 on this. How awesome is that? Totally.
On Saturday/Sunday I was totally bratting out(aka I was PMS-ing), so Stephen put up the Christmas decor early to cheer me up. The only slightly funny thing is the Thanksgiving decor is still up. Fall orange lights, pumpkins, etc., and ... a Christmas tree. Tada! Does it clash? Don't care. I'm leaving them both up.
Super sweet, he also made me choco chip cookies that were super good, despite the fact that he accidently used whole wheat flour instead of white. Unfortunately, he forgot to put them in tupperwear before they got just a little bit hard. Not as gooey, but still good. I'm pretty close to my weight lose goal, I think I'll make my pre-James weight by mid-December, but we still don't know if we can afford another kid by then. We might wait until the Army thing is done, and he's in. Which means our kids will be so far apart in age, that with the next ones we won't need a babysitter like, ever! We can just get James to tend them. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Ha ha, we were blogging simultaneously. The blouse is lovely, and I love the ruffles. What pattern did you use? I'd like to make one too.
Stephen is a great husband, willing to take these photos of you. Ian rarely snaps a picture, and I have to ask him to take a few throughout the year, of me and Scarlett. Men!
I LOVE THAT SHIRT!!! It's so British! Like, Victorian chic. I could totally see Emily Blunt, my "I wish I could be her" star, wearing something like that. I love it paired with the coat, too. Gorgeous!!! And I also love the whole "wait 'til James is old enough to watch his sibling" plan--genius! If we ever, ever have another baby, I'm definitely waiting until at least Camryn is in school. Oh, and Steve's cookies were tasty--and if you want them softer, pop them in the microwave for 20 seconds or so. They'll be chewy and melty and delicious!
He is sweet to take pics of me. When he does it though, I'm not allowed to look at them afterward, it bothers him when I want to check how I look after every photo, so he'll take like 10. There's bound to be 1 or 2 that I'll like.
That blouse is SUPER cute! I totally want to make one too!
And Stephen is an awesome brother (all of mine are, I have to say), so I can only imagine he's a great husband, too.
I love the blouse! You did a great job on it, and it looks cute on you. I hope that the weather stays mild enough that you can wear it (but I guess it will be cute in the spring, too.)
I know that things will work out for you guys, because you are trying to do all the right things with your life.
